1. Observation Decks – In most major cities, the tallest skyscrapers offer stunning views of the city from observation decks that are open to the public. For breathtaking views, be sure to visit these skyscrapers. Even better are the restaurants at the top of the sky scraper that offer stunning views of the city.
2. Paddle boat ride – This is a fun thing to do, especially on a hot summer day. Many of the public lakes offer paddle boat rentals.
3. Skydiving – If both of you have the guts, this is an experience you will never forget! I know this may sound a bit intimidating to you but it really is a very safe sport. Check your area for companies that offer skydiving. You can train and jump all in one day.
4. Parks – There is nothing like a fun day in the park. Be sure to bring along a blanket, a radio, an ice chest full of drinks, and picnic supplies.
5. Performing Arts – From operas, ballets, symphonies, plays, musicals, and concerts, you can’t go wrong if you schedule them.
6. PICNICS – This is at the top of my list of dating ideas. He’s especially great on first dates. Just bring a bottle of wine, cheese, and crackers, or even better, just choose some fried chicken and potato salad. Don’t forget the blanket and radio!
7. Football pitches – This is a great way to have some competitive fun and get plenty of exercise at the same time. Consult your telephone directory for racquetball clubs in your area. Some YMCAs offer racquetball as well.
8. Ranches – Not many people have been to a farm and I highly recommend you make an appointment here. There are ranches open to the public offering lots of fun activities like horseback riding, swimming, moonlight rides, petting zoos, softball, volleyball, horseshoes, mini golf, table tennis, fishing, a mechanical horse, etc.
9. Resorts – There is probably a resort area near you to get away from it all for some romance, recuperation, and relaxation. They offer a variety of activities such as golf, boating, water sports, tennis, fishing, casual and elegant dining, swimming, lodging, dance, movies, live entertainment, spas, etc.
10. Rifle and Pistol Ranges – This is definitely a fun experience to share. You can bring your own gun or rent one for target practice.
